Process in Getting Power of Attorney
1.) The "Letter of Attorney" document issued by ShiMao must by notarized by a Notary Public.
    a. The Notary Public must attach an "All Purpose Acknowledgement" to the document. The Notary Public MUST put 2 stamps on the document.
          i. Commission Stamp (their normal ink stamp)
          ii. Embosser (an imprint stamp)
    b. Write BOTH your Chinese and English name on the Letter of Attorney.
    c. Only the people who cannot go to China needs to make an appointment with the Notary Public. Your friend who is going to China and signing for you does not need to be at the appointment.
    d. After this step, anyone can go the County, State and Embassy for you.
2.) Next, go to the County to "Authenticate" the document. This means the County attached another piece of paper to this document.
    a. You have to go to the County that your Notary Public is registered with. It does NOT matter where you live. It only matters where your Notary Public's license is registered at.

3.) Now go to California Sate for Authenticate. The State will attach another piece of paper to the document.
    a. It does NOT matter which County you went to, everyone can come here

    b. There is a liquor store on the main floor of the building with a copy machine.. Make clear copies of EVERY SINGLE PAGE of the documents that is in your hand. The store makes change and it charges less than the copy machine at the China Embassy.
4.) Finally take all the original and copied document to the China Embassy.
